Crystal,

There a lot of resources available. One place to begin is to do a
web search on the "Canon of Scriptures," and on, "how we got our
Bible." You will find a number of sites that will give you the
background on how the Bible we use was transmitted over time. As
for books, you may want to look at some Bible handbooks. A good
one is "Eerdman's Handbook to the History of Christianity". Another
good book is "The Canon of Scripture" by F. F. Bruce.

We have an educational forum that you may wish to subscribe to. It
is a good place for investigation of Biblical issues. If interested you
can subscribe at:
