Hi (Name withheld),
You are proving once again that God is faithful. He will continue to
faithfully lead you in all that is His will for you.
>From what I read, you at one time belonged to a Pentecostal church.
>What happened in your life that caused your eyes to become open and
<>>see that staying in that church was not God's will?
It was a combination of things. I was formerly a UPC pastor and evangelist.
But I was also a great student of God's Word. That was the key. Over time I
began to realize that the UPC doctrine of salvation was non-Biblical.
When the Lord began to open my understanding concerning salvation, I had a
real reaction against the UPC. I felt like they had misled me. It took three
years of reconditioning my thought life before the Lord would release me from
that group. It was important that I not leave them with an angry spirit. When it
came time to leave, the Lord opened the right doors for me to walk through.
Now I only have only the deepest love for Pentecostal people. I see them as
prisoners of false teaching. It has been my role to help a lot of UPC folk get
their lives together, and if I can help you in any way please let me know.
We do have an email forum that you may wish to subscribe to. Many of the
members are formerly UPC folk. Let me know if you are interested and I'll tell
you how to subscribe.
Let me know how things are going.
Blessings,
Bro. Buddy
