Just Because Night

"Just Because Night" was held May 7, 2005. This is our second time to hold this event. The morning of the 7th, a groups of fathers and children from our church went fishing together at a stocked catfish pond just outside of town. The group caught a combined total of 82 pounds!

That same afternoon, some of the dads got together to clean and fillet the fish. Once the fish were "prepped", all the families, plus other members of the church gathered together at the back of the church for food, fellowship and fun!

We fried fish, jumped and slid down the slide (even had it turn over on us! not so fun - but praise God, no serious injuries!), played volleyball, and just overall enjoyed hanging out together.

Why do we do this? JUST BECAUSE!
